HANNAH NISHAT BOTERO
ILLUSTRATION            EDITORIAL            PHOTOGRAPHY            ART DIRECTION & DESIGN            ABOUT

Helloooo. I’m Hannah, a Colombian-Pakistani illustrator, designer, and writer born and raised in the United Arab Emirates. I graduated from The New School in New York City with a BFA in Illustration (Parsons) and a BA in Culture & Media Studies (Eugene Lang) in 2020. The following year, in July of 2021, I completed a Master’s in Editorial Design at Elisava in Barcelona, where I am currently based.

Combining my theoretical interests with my art/design practice, the majority of my personal visual and written work touches on sociopolitical themes, specifically chronic illness and disability, identity, and the bodymind.
